Fish Eagle Swimming Club (FESC)
is a registered non-profit organisation. We have a solid track record of supporting the growth and development of aquatics within the uThungulu District of KwaZulu Natal.
In keeping with our vision and mission to grow and develop swimming in our region, we are aiming to raise R100 000
from our up and coming Fish Eagle 1000m Swim
, which will take place on the 11th & 12th March 2016 at the Empangeni Municipal Swimming Pool
Our aim is to give back to our community and invest in future swimmers within the region. We have therefore ear-marked 20 Schools within Empangeni & Richards Bay, as possible beneficiaries of a 2016/2017 FESC Swimming Bursary for one of their students (i.e. ...1 Bursary per school).
A FESC 2016/2017 Swimming Bursary will cover the cost of the student's registration with Swimming South Africa, KwaZulu Natal Aquatics, uThungulu District Aquatics & Fish Eagle Swimming Club, as well as that of 1 of their parents/legal guardians, plus all Gala Entry Fees and Fish Eagle Swimming Club Kit (costume, cap, towel, bag, tracksuit, short & t-shirt) for the 2016/2017 swimming season; to the value of R5 000 per student.
Our dedicated FESC coaches in Richards Bay and Empangeni have all offered their services to coach these students for the 2016/2017 season free of charge! The total value of each Bursary is therefore in the region of R12 000 per student!
This event would not be possible without the generous sponsorship received from our Fish Eagle 1000m Swim Lane Sponsors ... Zululand Observer, Leomat, Mentor Shipping Agency, The Spares Shop, Pambele Investments and Fish Eagle Swimming Club! Thank you all so much :)
